What are A-Teams?
A-Teams are at the heart of why Walk for Memories is successful. A-Teams are made up of four or more members and can be comprised of co-workers, friends, family or members of your organization. Each A-Team has a captain and four or more members.
As an A-Team Captain
As an A-Team captain you'll be in charge of recruiting team members, ensuring members are registered, facilitating team meetings and events, helping to set and meet fundraising goals, as well as motivating the team.
As an A-Team Member
As an A-Team Member you are responsible for collecting pledges to support your A-Team's fundraising goal, participate in meetings and events as organized by your A-Team and recruit possible A-Team members.
Finding A-Team members
You can find A-Team members everywhere you look. Send an e-mail to everyone in your address book or mention it to a friend, family member, and co-worker the next time you see them. You can also ask others at your place or worship, the gym, or any members of social networks that you belong to.
